types of engraving

There are two main types of Engraving. These are:

1. Actual Engraving, where the engraver uses a selection of small drill bits to carve into the glass, and create the requested pattern. This option is more expensive as it takes a lot of time and care. If anything goes wrong, the engraver will have to start again with fresh glass, as mistakes cannot be rectified.

2. Sand Blasting: This is the more economical option. The Engraver uses a jet of sand and a template to print the design onto the glass. This option is cheaper, as it is quicker than engraving, and bulk orders can be completed more easily.
